Before your fingers jumped to the keyboard give this a little thought. What is the church's purpose? I am not saying what is the christian's purpose. When the called out (christians) come together on a certain day what is their purpose? What should they do or be doing?
Before you start typing please consider scripture to support your view. What is the point to them getting together.

Hebrews 10:22-25
Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

The church is for the gathering of the saints. We come together to worship God, learn from His Word, and edify each other. The church is for the followers of Christ.
